The treatment

Smooth, bright, event-ready.

A precise, gentle exfoliation using a sterile surgical blade to lift away dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz).

Skin is left visibly smoother and brighter, and serums absorb more deeply afterward. No downtime, and ideal before an event. Khush finishes with a calming mask and a hydrating serum layer so you leave glowing, not red.

Who it's for

Anyone who wants an immediate, smooth-to-the-touch finish: before a wedding, a shoot or a big night out. Also ideal if make-up tends to cling to peach fuzz or sit unevenly. Not suitable during active breakouts, on very reactive skin or if you are using prescription retinoids; tell Khush at booking.

What happens in the session

A double cleanse and skin prep, then Khush works across the face in short, feather-light strokes with a single-use sterile blade, holding the skin taut. It feels like a soft brush. A soothing mask and serums follow. The 60-minute option adds a lymphatic sculpting massage.

What you'll feel and see after

Skin feels exceptionally smooth and looks brighter straight away, with a light, even surface that make-up glides over. Any slight pinkness settles within an hour. Serums and moisturiser absorb noticeably better for the following week or two.

Aftercare

For the next 48 hours.

  • Use SPF 30 or higher every morning; freshly exfoliated skin is more sun-sensitive.
  • Skip acids, retinol, scrubs and hot steam for 48 hours.
  • Keep make-up light for the first day if you can; the glow does the work.
  • Hydrate: a simple serum and moisturiser morning and night.
  • Repeat every 4–6 weeks, in line with your skin's natural renewal cycle.
FAQ

Good questions.

Will the hair grow back thicker?

No. Vellus hair is cut at the surface, not at the root, so it grows back exactly as it was: fine and soft. It is not affected by shaving the way coarse hair can appear to be.

Does it hurt?

No. Most clients describe it as a light brushing sensation. There is no pulling, heat or stinging.

How close to my event should I book?

One to three days before is ideal. Skin is at its smoothest and brightest, and make-up applies flawlessly.

Can I combine it with a sculpting treatment?

Yes. Dermaplaning pairs well with Facial Cupping or Cryo Sculpting as add-ons, and many brides book it alongside the Bridal / Red Carpet Sculpt in the week before.

Is it hygienic?

Every blade is sterile and single-use, opened in front of you and disposed of immediately after your session.

Smooth, bright and ready.
